cypher had the following comments: Wow, That is amazing. The picture in the background has always been one of my favorite works of art. Contrary to your words on the web site, I believe that piece is "Starry Night" by Vincent van Gogh. (Note: thanks. I corrected this. I slipped up because I knew it was a Van Gogh but Monet is my favorite painter so I thought one and typed the other. A very public mistake for a year on the Net:) Nevertheless, the expression of the girl in the foreground seems to go along with the turbulance outside her window. It blends perfectly.

The young girl is on Himeshima Island in Japan--my photo. She was made-up as a geisha for the famous Himeshima Fox Festival. People come from all over Japan during Obon in August to see the boys dance as little foxes and the zany comedy dance of some adults. One man wore pots and pans as his costume. Van Gogh's Starry, Starry Night is reknown. The window picture is from Photoshop's tutorial but they don't reference either the photographer or the photoseller which is too bad. I combed the manual and CD references to find the name but no luck. Maybe I missed it. Personally I also think it is unfortunate that when CD photo sellers sell "royalty-free" images, they don't always reference the original photographer of the image. Even if it's work-for-hire or if the photographer has sold all rights to the CDphoto company, they still deserve to have their name credited.
